• Primary relationship manager & GE contact for allocated Corporate Finance clients

• Responsibilities include maintaining core relationships with the relevant Borrower/ owner/ intermediary, assessing key requests (including: restructures/ refinancing’s) and ensuring appropriate reporting & monitoring performance/ risk management (including financial, collateral, industry performance/ trends of the relevant client base)

• Co-ordinate client activities engaging relevant GE team members
• Proactively leading the management of client requests across the assigned Corporate lending client base – develop and lead multi-disciplined deal teams to effectively execute requests as required

• Effectively manage & report on the performance of the assigned portfolio & manage activities to maximize income opportunities/ minimize potential losses

• Undertake historical performance analysis, current and projected financial/ collateral performance – including measurement of financial covenants

• Support the broader Relationship Management and Corporate Finance team via knowledge of the broader loan market - sharing key market intelligence

• Developing client relationship strategies at multiple levels and across the broader advisor, Corporate Finance & intermediary market in A&NZ

• Accurate real time analysis and reporting of client risk exposure and ratings per GE guidelines

• Oversee/ lead challenging accounts - workouts and insolvencies as required

• Perform special projects (as required)

• Manage daily reporting and lending activities of clients, including approval of funding requests

• Act as positive source and motivation to the broader client management team

• Share technical, market and industry knowledge with broader Corporate Finance team
• 8+ years of work experience in accounting, or banking related roles with 5+ years directly related experience in banking preferably Corporate Finance/ Leveraged finance or insolvency

• Strong Financial acumen/ expertise developed through tertiary and past graduate qualifications (ie MBA, CPA or CA) and prior experience.

• Demonstrated Experience in structuring/ negotiating Corporate Finance debt facilities to develop appropriate solutions to meet client expectations

• Demonstrated Credit expertise – comprehensive knowledge of credit and risk management techniques

• Demonstrated ability to proactively seek out information needed to satisfy clients requirements and to balance client advocacy with business goals

• Strong inclusiveness skills - shares information openly

• Clear concise written & oral communication skills

• Ability to deliver difficult messages and interact with clients in a manner that maintains ongoing customer relations.
