The Incident Response Manager will work to solve information security incidents and act as a supporting team member in security investigations. In addition the Manager must maintain plans and procedures related to the Incident Response, Forensics, and Investigation function such as the Computer Security Incident Response plan.

About you

In your role as an Incident Response Manager you will:
  • Maintain the process for lost and stolen firm information assets
  • Maintain, manage, and update the process for handling security incidents, and respond to security incidents
  • Test the security incident response plan by developing and executing fictional security incidents
  • Direct teams throughout the incident response process
  • Manage and improve information security documentation as required
  • Work with IT and Security operations to resolve incidents and report on events
  • Lead & provide support during security investigations when required

We are looking for people with the following experience:
  • Deep understanding of security threats and vulnerabilities
  • Understanding of electronic investigation, forensic tools, and methodologies
  • Knowledgeable in legal issues within information security environments (i.e., data privacy)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of forensic data collection and investigation techniques, tools, and process
  • Knowledge of malware and techniques to reverse engineer malware behaviours
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, Java script, C, C , C#, ASP, .NET, Unix/Linux and scripting is a plus
  • Holding one of CISSP, CISM or CISA is an advantage
