We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fixed Income professional to join our expanding team of market specialists in Sydney to help support our Core Fixed Income and Fixed Income Derivatives products.
The Role
Candidates should possess a deep body of knowledge and experience in Fixed Income and Fixed Income derivatives products - such as Credit Derivatives and Interest Rate Derivatives. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter, comfortable in a demanding and client-driven environment.

Responsibilities will include:

• Fostering relationships and educating both buy and sell side clients in Australia on Bloomberg's unique solutions.
• Furthering the product knowledge of our sales force through internal training.
• Liaising with both clients and product managers in the region thus influencing the future direction of the product.
• Public speaking
• Contributing to magazine articles.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in the financial industry, ideally in a client facing role, with a broad and detailed knowledge of both the Australian and International Fixed Income and Fixed Income derivatives markets, so that the successful candidate can meet the high-level analytical demands of our customers.
• Fixed Income structuring experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills, with the ability to initiate, develop and maintain relationships with key clients.
• Strong presentation skills and experience with both small and large groups.
• Knowledge of the BLOOMBERG PROFESSIONAL service is essential.
• Strong negotiating and inter-personal skills; able to influence the future direction of our products.
