The Role
The Application Specialists group is looking for a qualified Mortgage professional to join the growing Fixed Income team in our Sydney office. Applicants should possess a deep body of subject matter expertise in Structured Products backed by residential loans.
The successful candidate will have cash flow waterfall modelling experience and be a motivated self-starter, and should be comfortable in a demanding and client-driven environment.

The Role
The Application Specialists group is looking for a qualified Mortgage professional to join the growing Fixed Income team in our Sydney office. Applicants should possess a deep body of subject matter expertise in Structured Products backed by residential loans.
The successful candidate will have cash flow waterfall modelling experience and be a motivated self-starter, and should be comfortable in a demanding and client-driven environment.
The Responsibilities:
- Providing high-level analytical expertise to clients, our sales force, and Bloomberg's product developers.
- Directly impacting sales by on-site meetings with clients and prospects where you will present unique Bloomberg solutions.
- Influencing the direction of our product by providing feedback to Bloomberg's business managers on user demand, market practices and desired product enhancements.
- Furthering the knowledge of our sales force through intensive internal training and seminars.
- Educating clients by presenting at local and regional seminars, professional market events, and industry conferences.
- Conducting high-level discussions about the Australian Mortgages markets (and Bloomberg's unique suite of tools for assessing relative value in this sector) with clients and internal stakeholders.
The Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the Australian Mortgage markets (RMBS and/or CMBS).
- Strong knowledge of the Fixed Income markets.
- Preferred experience with data analytic tools from Intex
- Ability to develop and maintain key client relationships.
- Exemplary presentation, training and communication skills.
- Willing to travel as customer demands and market conditions require.
- Sales experience is desirable.
