Role Summary/Purpose     To conduct inbound & outbound telephone based collection activity from 0-180 days past due, utilising auto-based dialler system, on Credit Card accounts.
Essential Responsibilities     To conduct inbound & outbound telephone based collection activity from 0-180 days past due, utilising both a manual and auto-based dialler system, on customer accounts nationally. Obtain promise to pay from overdue & overlimit accounts, by setting and reviewing action dates, in the view of getting accounts to an up to date status. Identifying Customer needs including Hardship or dissatisfaction. Make realistic arrangements with the customer to bring the account up to date using negotiation skills. Determine what tools will assist or solve the collection problem and sell the benefits of this to the client. Ensure actions comply within policy, procedure and strict legislative guidelines. Educate Customer about the account and next steps in the legal process, if all other avenues have been exhausted. Work within a team based environment responsible for achieving personal KPI’s. Participate in training and regular ongoing coaching and support.
Qualifications/Requirements     Experience
•Collections experience (essential for late stage)
•Collections/Call Centre experience (desirable for early stage)
•Knowledge of Privacy legislation
•Knowledge of ACCC guidelines (desirable)
•Experience dealing with difficult customers & negotiating

Technical Knowledge
•Vision + Host System (desirable)

•Typing & PC skills
•Basic Word & Excel skills

Desired Characteristics     You must be available to work Monday to Friday and in order to be considered for this position you will need to be fully flexible to work between the following hours:
· Full Time: Monday – Friday 8.00am-8.45pm
· Part Time: Monday – Thursday 8.00am-8.45pm

You must be available to start on Monday 17th February - Training is to commence on this day and will be for 2 weeks between the hours of 8.30am and 4.30pm
