Reporting directly to the Client Relationship Director – Fleet, this is a senior level sales role, which is responsible for owning the sales strategy and relationship with key customers. The successful candidate will have experience in:

  • building relationships at a senior level with key partners in Corporate sectors, to imbed Custom Fleet/GE deeply within their organisation

  • developing/owning the sales strategy to retain key partners
Essential functions will include, but not be limited to:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key partners

  • Ensuring we understand the objectives of key decision makers/influencers at all times and develop a robust sales strategy to ensure we continue to meet their expectations at an exceptional level

  • Developing/owning the sales strategy for key partners at a senior level to retain/maximise our entitlement

  • Seeking opportunities to grow our wider GE entitlement by working closely with other channels, e.g. Access GE

  • Providing significant value via consultancy to key partners and the wider fleet team

  • Building best practice in strategic account management and cascading tools to the wider fleet team

  • Projects/initiatives aligned to the business’s objectives for driving commercial excellence/best practice and/or eliminating waste

  • Developing and maintaining a strong relationship with the Strategic Accounts Management team and leaders of functional teams to ensure all stakeholders are aligned/resourced to deliver best practice to our key partners
Skills & Experience Required

  • At least 10 years experience in a finance environment

  • At least 5 years experience at a mid management sales level

  • Solid knowledge and expertise in asset based lending, and flow type businesses

  • Good understanding and previous experience in understanding a commercial risk and leasing environment

  • Broad understanding of commercial finance businesses
Technical Knowledge

  • Ability to think strategically and set clear direction

  • Sound risk analysis and financial analysis knowledge

  • Strong deal structuring and execution knowledge

  • Problem solving – especially the ability to develop solutions to meet customer needs Salesforce systems knowledge an advantage
