| The
role is responsible for the day to day management, analysis and
implementation of web analytics across both the Commercial and Consumer
finance businesses.
There are two major aspects to this role: managing and implementing strategic enterprise level web analytics, and delivery of key insights from these implementations that lead to tangible commercial outcomes. As the role develops there will be opportunity to work on exciting big data projects, changing the way the organisation operates. | |
| Web Analytics platform management (50%)
• Technical day to day management & administration of all web analytics platforms ensuring the implementations are accurate and up to date and managed via tag management tools and JavaScript files • Ensure web analytics tools are configured to deliver optimal tracking and ensure that analytics is considered at every step of the product development process • Configure web analytics tools so that they are optimally tracking and ensure that analytics is considered at every step of the product development stream Optimisation & Insights (40%) • Contribute to Digital Analytics optimisation strategy • Running Optimisation programs using all available data sources incl. Test & Target • Drive Insights across consumer and commercial domains into the customer journey, providing recommendations to improve online customer acquisition & retention initiatives • Contribute to and monitor customer segmentation models for online behaviour with a view to optimising these segments • Management of campaign tracking & efficiency Governance & Stakeholder Management (10%) • Be responsible for the data structure and integrity across all digital analytics and reporting tools • Day to day management of global shared services team based in India • Day to day relationship management of web analytics vendors | |
| Qualifications
• Educated to minimum of degree level or higher preferably in a statistical or information technology discipline Experience • 3 years’ experience minimum in Web Analytics function including experience in Omniture SiteCatalyst (mandatory), Tag Management tools, Hitwise and other platforms including Test & Target • Technical web analytics experience, including basic understanding of JavaScript programming • Strong understanding of web analytics technologies and web or software development • Knowledge of the financial services sector • Testing or other QA experience is also highly regarded Skills • Ability to think strategically, to design and deliver projects with significant impact • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong capabilities to articulate and present complex information • Sound ability to work with and across various functional business units and other analytics teams • First-rate data governance skills • Excellent statistical analysis skills with advanced knowledge of MS Excel • Will have good understanding of the digital marketing landscape (affiliate marketing, SEM, display advertising, social media, SEO and email marketing) and practices | |
