Role Summary/Purpose	The IT Digital Project Development Lead is responsible for the production, modification and maintenance of user interfaces for web/mobile sites and web/mobile applications. This role will be required to work with internal teams as well as vendors to ensure consistency and quality of delivery. Essential Responsibilities	Development Management • Develop applications within both digital projects • Leading the digital solution design process • Collaborate with developers and IT specialists to lead and design of appropriate technical solutions for digital • Collaborate with Project Managers to plan, monitor and control solution delivery and assist in risk identification and mitigation • Working closely with various stakeholders, vendors and peers enabling the effective assessment and translation of business requirements from a design point of view through to physical application. • Create good relationships across IT to expedite solution delivery • Be part of the assessment and evaluation of overall performance of applications Vendor Management • Work closely with vendors to deliver digital projects • Engaging vendors for resourcing requirements • Manage vendors as collaborative partners in developing solutions Quality Management • Collaborate with project managers to plan, monitor and control solution delivery. • Assist in risk identification and mitigation • Work with solution architects and vendors to ensure that quality standards are met • Measure delivery performance and pro-actively evolve work-products and processes to improve it
Qualifications/Requirements	Qualifications • Completed a Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline (e.g. Information Technology, Computer Information Systems and Computer Science) Experience • At least 3 years commercial experience in developing and delivering mobilised website and native/hybrid mobile applications Technical Knowledge • Intermediate to senior in web technologies: J2EE, HTML, HTML 5, CSS 3, Javascript and JQuery. • Senior level commercial iOS, Android and other mobile app development experience using these mobile technology: o Apple – iOS 7, XCode, Cocoa Touch, Objective-C o Android – Eclipse, Java o HTML5, jQueryMobile, CSS 3 o JSON, SOAP, XML, RESTful web-services o Mobile Application Functional Test • Strong development in mobilising website using Responsive Web Design • Strong understanding of the full SDLC with experience in both Agile and traditional environments • In-app purchasing and web services over RESTful APIs • Experience with database programming • Experience with source control and code management • Able to produce, review and document standards based, high-quality, optimised code • Sound understanding of IBM technology stack Skills • Previously worked in an agile environment • Experience in leading onshore and offshore development teams • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills • Strong problem solving and analytical skills • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
