Opportunity For An Experienced Maintenance Technician

With the development of two new sterile facilities within their expanding Melbourne based site, a new opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor/Engineer has come up with a top 10 Global Pharmaceutical Company. With the recent expansion of their sterile facility in Melbourne, this top 10 Global Pharmaceutical company is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor/Engineer to join their Engineering Services team. This is an exciting new role that will play an integral part in the maintenance activities of the two new facilities that have been recently installed in to the site. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your main responsibilities in this role will include: - Supervising a specialized team of mechanical fitters and turners - Daily scheduling and delegation of preventative maintenance and breakdown activities - Troubleshoot production issues as they arise - Be able to effectively write maintenance reports (ie. Maintenance protocols) - Liase effectively with other departments including Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering Projects and Validation - Conduct risk assessments where needed In order to be considered for the position you must have: - Tertiary degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering - Have a minimum of 2-3 years experience supervising a team of qualified tradespeople - Have a minimum of 5 years experience working in a Maintenance role within the Pharma, Biotechnology, Food or Medical Device industries - Have a thorough understanding of GMP guidelines - Have strong experience scheduling and conducting preventative maintenance on production equipment - Have a proven track record troubleshooting production equipment issues and resolving breakdown issues promptly - Have excellent communication skills - Have excellent documentation skills - Have excellent and proven stakeholder management experience - Be driven to succeed and meet organizational goals This is a truly fantastic opportunity to join one of the world leading Pharmaceutical Manufacturers at their Global Headquarters in Melbourne.
