We are looking for an Accounting Operations and Compliance
Accountant to join our team to manage the firm’s external compliance
requirements including completion of Financial Statements and AFSL and
ASIC lodgements.
You will provide accounting advice on complex accounting issues to senior leadership in the Finance team.
As part of our finance team, your insights and skills will be
highly valued as you help us achieve our financial and business goals.

About you
In your role as an Accounting Operations and Compliance Accountant you will;
- Manage the Firm’s external compliance requirements including completion of Financial Statements and AFSL and ASIC lodgements
- Coordinate all ASIC reporting requirements and lodgements
- Coordinate all Australian Financial Service (AFS) License requirements and lodgements
- Ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures
- Confidently present AFS Financial Statements at Director meetings, including explaining the reasons behind
- Provide guidance to other Finance team members on the above, legal entity issues and firm policies related to the work you complete.
- Prepare PAYG information for the EY Partnership on a quarterly basis.
We are looking for people with the following experience:
- A Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Commerce and have commenced or be looking to commence either CA or CPA Program
- Previous experience in finance related roles (prior experience in professional services will be highly regarded but is not essential)
- Strong understanding of IFRS
- 2-3 years of experience in a finance function, with general ledger account reconciliation experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Good understanding of accounting principles
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
