As
the Credit Initiation Officer you will be responsible for actioning all
‘new business’ and ‘portfolio’ applications for unsecured credit
according to Citibank procedures in an effective and efficient manner in
accordance with operational objectives. Reporting
to the unit manager, this role will suit someone with strong knowledge
of the Unsecured Credit Lending business and has a solid level of
experience working in a Credit Operations environment along with people
and process management skills.
This role is based at Rhodes.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Responsible
for processing credit approvals and limit assignments (incl.
reassessments) for ‘Card’ and Ready Credit and Partnership products in
accordance with departmental and Risk standards

Reviewing and analysing all “exception” application requests
-
Provide superior service to customers, both internal & external, in order to build relationships and rapport.

Monitor and report on status of ‘work queues/flows’ on a daily and weekly basis or as directed by the Manager, Credit Approvals
-
Review and effectively/efficiently act on feedback in relation to quality assurance issues
-
Assist
with the review of and provide feedback in relation to proposed ‘cards’
& Ready Credit ‘new business’ & ‘portfolio’ and Partnership
campaigns

Assist with the provision of feedback in relation to operational results
-
Act
as a support and guide for other Citibank departments and external
parties in relation to the Partnerships approvals process

Provide support and back-up to other business units within Unsecured Credit Acceptance.
