You will be responsible for the Production Services of Unix infrastructure, which will include for providing 24x7 Production Support, Enhancement/ Work Requests and Internal initiatives such as Product Lifestyle Management. Strong communication skills is essential as you will collaborate with appropriate stakeholders including global teams, customers, business and applications team to ensure the stability of production environment within the bank. There will also be a requirement to make trips to our data centres to manage production issues.

Successful Applicants must have:

• Strong System Administration Skills on Solaris 9/10 platform, AIX. Linux and HP UX operating Systems
• Excellent Knowledge on SAN Administration, HO Openview and HP Data Protector
• Prior exposure to all ranges of hardware provided by vendors Oracle, IBM, HP and Dell – like all SUN M series and T series servers and IBM pSeries servers
• Strong Knowledge of networking, IPMP and SUN, EMC, Veritas disk multipathing tools and shell scripting.

The team works normal corporate hours, and is rostered to be on call (24x7) 1 week out of 10.
