Network Services Manager

Company Profile Our client is one of the fastest growing systems intergrators and service providers in Australia, offering best of breed network data security and infrastructure technology solutions for Government and Enterprise. The Technical Operation Manager will lead and a team of Network Engineers to provide a flexible service, with a focus on Consultancy, Design and Implementation of Voice, Security and Data Networks. You will work closely with team members, customers, integrators, and vendors to build strong relationships, provide technical support, and establish and deliver Service Level Agreements and KPI's. The technical team is expected to double in size by January with established business and ongoing major projects underway. Key Responsibilities * Operational accountability for voice and data networks, including perimeter security. * On-going reviews of configuration standards, implementations, support processes, deployed technologies and product maintenance. * Detailed designs and creation of network strategies. * 3rd level support of the data, voice, and security services. * Provide technical support and guidance to team members. * Technical Support and Implementation process development Skills & Experience * Cisco certified engineer with expertise in switching and routing * Expert network design skills * Hands on experience with security, wireless, and data centre, WAN optimisation technologies * Ability to lead a team of professionals with experience in design, implementation and support * Exposure to large scale, complex, and distributed business environments * Detailed technical understanding of communication services and technologies * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with management * Team building skills and ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members * High exposure to Vendor management * Excellent written and oral communication skills Salary Package Successful candidates for this role will be rewarded with an industry leading base salary negotiable on experience. 75% of the positions 2it filled this year were not advertised, with these 'off-market' opportunities filled from our databases and network.
