deploying video conferencing throughout the branch network in order to
'Bring the Bank back to the Branch' With this technology, CBA will be
able to give customers the ability to meet all our specialists from the
branch of their choice at the time of their choice.
Commonwealth Financial Planning has been providing financial advice to Australians for more than two decades. We are one of Australia's largest and best resourced financial planning businesses, with more than 700 advisers nationwide and over 100 specialist support staff. Our national presence means that wherever customers are, they'll be able to access quality financial advice.
The purpose of the Financial Planner (Video Conferencing) is to provide the clients of Commonwealth Financial Planning, with holistic, lifestyle based financial advice, ensuring performance objectives are met including quality of advice, client services requirements, compliance and business growth and retention.
This position offers no restrictions on the dollar value of customer's investable income and offers a broad scope of products.
Reporting to the Executive Manager, Video Conferencing, role accountabilities will include:
• Provide financial advice strategies and service to customers of CBA
• Accountable for the quality of the relationship within the team and the branch network
• Recommending appropriate strategies, products and service options to the client
• Working with key stakeholders to ensure relationships integral to the success of this unit are developed and maintained.
We are looking for candidates with the following attributes, skills and experience:
• RG146 compliant in the following generic and specialist areas, Generic Knowledge, Managed Investments, Life Insurance, Superannuation, Financial Planning and Skills
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline is desirable
• Proven performance in a financial planning role
• Ability to grow and maintain a client base
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders
• Strong presentation skills. Previous delivery via Video Conference is advantageous,
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to operate without supervision on a proactive basis;
• Ability to engage clients in either, or both, a video or phone based interaction environment including excellent presentation skills (face to face, via video conference and over the phone);
• Motivated by providing excellent customer service
• An enthusiastic and genuine interest in the application of technology in the financial services industry and motivated to support its use in financial planning.
