| This
role will provide the focus, vision and leadership required to develop
and grow GE Distributed Power’s A&NZ Channel and New Markets
Strategy, by developing new channels and markets, as well as supporting
and managing the existing Channels in Australia & New Zealand.
This position will build, develop, and manage strategic relationships with channel partners to identify, recruit, and enable channels to sell and drive double digit profitable growth. | |
| • Develop and execute P&L programs to drive channel growth and forecasting for indirect channel segment in A&NZ
• Responsible for orders growth and penetration through defined programs and channel metrics • Identify and coordinate priorities of the P&L and regional leadership that can be effectively met through channel relationships • Provide marketing and pre-sales support including solution-selling strategies/tactics to enable channels to effectively articulate the product line value equation and achieve set targets. • Identify potential channels and manage opportunities and pipeline • Communicate /spearhead with channels on new products and offerings. • Provide constant product communication to keep Channel Partners informed of any and all issues. • Coordinate with Global Channel leader to design and establish compensation/incentive programs to motivate channels in achieving set targets • Ensure Channel commitment to the GE Brand • Develop strategies for groups of partners, create and manage campaign plans, and lead in the execution of the channel strategy • Create a culture of highest integrity and compliance within indirect channels • Ensure global compliance practices are followed for P&L channel population • Introduce and communicate P&L programs and commitments to channel partners • Partner with regions to drive channel effectiveness • Cultivate long-term relationships with strategic partners to support business growth • Evaluate training program and product certification programs used for distributor reps and partners • Evaluate A&NZ channel effectiveness • Embrace and implement channel management best practices • Ensure connectivity with respective commercial and P&L team members | |
| • Relevant Bachelor degree or above from an accredited university or college
• Extensive experience in related business development role within a related industry • Demonstrated experience in an related Direct Sales role within the Energy industry • Customer focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to internal and external customer needs • Excellent interpersonal, and verbal/written presentation skills • High ethics and integrity Work Traits • Be highly motivated, dynamic and organized • Ability to be a decision maker, adaptable, flexible and driven for results • Possess great attention to detail, be proactive and analytical • Demonstrate good judgment and be a team player • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment • Strong contracts, analytical, commercial & negotiation skills • Ability to build rapport, energize and influence people • Proven coordination and influencing skills to set and drive an agenda with third parties • Self-motivated, pro-active, persistent and results oriented | |
| • Expertise in Energy industry
• Experience in managing sales channels of multiple products in flow business in Energy, IBP and utility industries. • Direct and/ or indirect leadership experience • MBA desirable, ability to analyze business models |
