Responsibilities
The Senior Product Manager, QuickBooks Online Ecosystem (SaaS and mobile) is responsible for leading our Australian QuickBooks product strategy, offering portfolio and roadmap. This key role in our international product management team will:
  • Lead the Australian offering strategy and roadmap
  • Think end-to-end by connecting all the pieces of the business (development, marketing, sales, support) to ensure the offering experience delivers world class customer delight
  • Research, understand and draw insights on customers’ pain points and needs through methods such as “follow-me-to-home/office” visits, in-depth interviews, root-cause analysis, and other customer/market research techniques
  • Lead innovation in products through “test and learn” mentality and think creatively about business models
  • Lead through process excellence and demonstrate effective project management skills for complex projects as well as anticipate likely risks and implement mitigation plans
  • Collaborate and lead cross-functional teams across a variety of geographies (regional marketing, sales and customer care)
  • Develop and manage partnerships with external partners that enhance our SMB ecosystem
  • Build business case for product changes with measurable impact
  • Write detailed requirements and user stories, coordinating with PM and PD teams to execute
  • Establish relationships with accounting and bookkeeping professionals and be the product evangelist
  • Monitor the regional competitive landscape to understand our relative positioning and ability to deliver on our brand promise compared to competition
  • Represent Intuit at industry events, conferences and trade shows and deliver presentations to accounting professionals, customers, and key stakeholders
  • Keep up to date with Australian taxation & other legislation, accounting standards and industry trends

Qualifications

  • 9+ years in a Product Management role designing and delivering world-class SaaS software products
  • Accounting public practice experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience managing the end-to-end product experience for consumer or SMB offerings.
  • Ability to develop and execute a successful product roadmap, backed by solid business cases
  • Have a passion for unearthing customer insights and championing the voice of the customer
  • Proven expertise leading cross-functional teams, including the ability to think and lead complex projects simultaneously
  • Hands-on, hard-working and motivated by growing a business
  • Excellent communication skills – both oral and written and a track record of working with senior management
  • Ability to travel approximately 10% globally
  • MBA preferable
