IP Network Support Engineers (2x Roles) Contract to Perm

Network Support (2x Roles) Contract to Perm opportunity Our client a Consultancy based in North Sydney is looking for 2 x Network Support Engineers to assist with a large customer cutover project. The IP network support tasks will be for a 6 month period, after which one or both individuals may be offered a full time position. Ideally we are looking for the following skill sets and background * 1-3 years previous Network Support/Engineer experience and/or similar * Understanding of TCP/IP and associated devices * General understanding of IP networks and ability to analyse faults and network issues * Experience using Solarwinds or any other SNMP platform will be given preference * Ability to following processes and procedures * You must hold a current and up to date Australian driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle as transport Your experience may include: * CCNA certification (or working towards your CCNA) * IT Diploma or equivalent discipline * Strong customer service skills. * Good computer literacy - Microsoft (Word & Excel) You will also demonstrate: * Excellent communication and presentation skills. * Strong co-ordination and problem solving skills. * Enthusiastic and motivational personality that is team focused. * Proactive, flexible attitude to work with a willingness to constantly review and improve skills and processes. * Partnership, Personal Commitment and Multi- Cultural Strength. The positions will initially require some travel around NSW to assist with network rollouts an accommodation and travel allowance will paid for by the company for any such onsite work.
