Role Summary/Purpose

Reporting to the Channel Environment Lead, Channel Environment Analyst will provide technical leaderships, help shape the future of operations in the Project space to Enhance the Standards and Processes of Environment Management within GE. This role is well suited for someone with strong technical skills who are looking for a chance to expand beyond the technical.
Essential Responsibilities     - Overseeing part of the overall Channel Environment Team projects deliveries
- Provides Technical Leadership in resolving issues that may arise during projects
- Helps review and approve standards documents and artefacts delivered by the projects
- Helps execute and improves on the process

Qualifications/Requirements

 • Knowledge and Experience in building and administration on one of following technology is a must:
o WebSphere Application Servers
o WebSphere Portal Servers
o WebSphere Process Server
• Strong background in System Administration of Linux and Windows environment, with specific emphasis on bash, Jython and Ruby Scripting
• Strong understanding and experience on the standard SDLC and Agile Development Process
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
• Strong business acumen and industry acumen

Desired Characteristics     Working knowledge of Chef, Jenkins, Rundeck is an advantage.
