| The primary function of the Project Subject Matter Expert is as follows:
1. Contribute to the successful delivery of the Voice stream (Carriage and Equipment) for Telephony Projects 2. Collaboration with the Telephony Project Analyst, providing support and assistance as required 3. Provide assistance and expertise to ensure a smooth transition for both GE businesses and IT with minimal business impact | |
| - Assist Telephony Project Analyst in Project Delivery, stakeholder & vendor management
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise to Sourcing for contract negotiation and Statement Of Works - Assist the GE BA team and/or vendor/s in creation of a business requirements documentation to ensure the solution and transition meets GE needs and expectations - Delivery of Data Collection documentation and co-ordination of Data Collection workshops - Approval of requirements, design, implementation and testing documents, providing an end to end view to ensure requirements met and risks are minimised - Management of risk mitigation planning - Engage and communicate with, and manage expectations of, relevant stakeholders - Provide PM with weekly Voice stream status reporting - Participate all regular Project meetings - Adherence to all internal GE policies and procedures - Co-ordinate third party voice suppliers of existing platforms to ensure integration to and interoperability with other related systems - Provide SME support to other GE teams and vendor/s as required - Delivery of Voice Support Handover Documentation from vendor to GE including facilitation of walkthroughs, internal briefings, collation of feedback and management of vendor deliverables | |
| Qualifications
• Academic Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or Telecommunications preferred • Industry Certification in at least one major Voice technology( EG: PABX or IVRs or Diallers) is preferred Experience • 1-3 years experience delivering Telephony related projects and services, preferably within Banking and Finance • 2+ years experience in project execution including requirements gathering, documentation, testing and knowledge transfer • 2+ years experience in managing vendors & stakeholders • Internal GE processes such as Project Execution Framework, Change Management, Legal & Compliance Attributes/Behaviours The successful candidate must have the following attributes. • Excellent problem solver • Articulate in communications • Consultative style in influencing people Technical Knowledge • Up to date with industry standards and technology trends • Robust project delivery methodology • Technical background in following Voice technologies and integration to other platforms Skills • Vendor Management • Change management • Project management • Knowledge management • Clear and concise communications • Documentation • Time Management | |
