Global Pharmaceutical leader requires Senior Medical advisor/ Associate Medical Director - Medical Doctor / Medical Affairs expert Location -Sydney, Australia Salary - $150 - $240,000 highly competitive package - salary, car allowance, health insurance, pension, bonus & stock options dependent on experience Cardiovascular / Respiratory / Asthma experience is desirable not essential The leading pharmaceutical company is growing there Medical Affairs team in preparation for new product pipeline and further development of the existing product life cycle. As an Associate Medical Director / Senior Medical Advisor you will report Medical Director and be part of the growing medical affairs team. This is senior medical affairs position accountable for the medical/marketing/sales interface, with full responsibility for the running the Australian medical activities for a specialist therapy area. The role will comprise of Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Medical Information and medical input into strategy and operations for all products in this cutting edge portfolio. This role will suit an existing AMD or a Senior Medical Advisor looking to progress there career in a more challenging role. Responsibilities include: - Be the medical lead for a key therapeutic portfolio. - Provide medical support to the commercial business & support global medical education programs local and globally. - Provide input to KOLs & create dialogue with key influencers in the international medical community. - Represent the company at national and international conferences. - Impart technical medical expertise to facilitate the commercialisation of pipeline products. - Engage in Code of Conduct related activities. - Provide high level scientific training to specialist representatives. To be successful in the role you will be a medical background and have a sound track record working within medical affairs within the pharmaceutical industry. You will previously managed a therapeutic portfolio within a pharmaceutical or biotech company covering both clinical and medical marketing activities.
