| Description: | Who you are You’re a versatile, technically-excellent, mathematically-minded developer with an interest in trading and finance. What you'll do You’ll be part of a fast-paced, dynamic and self-sufficient team collaborating closely with our Traders to design, develop, implement and optimise our in-house automated trading applications. You’ll work with stock, index and commodity derivative products and will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of our trading application from requirements to testing and production deployment. Your skills Development of our automated trading system is primarily in C++, so experience with this language is valuable, however most importantly you will need to be eager to work in this environment. • 3+ years of commercial software engineering experience using a modern programming language (e.g. C++, Java, C#, Python) • Test-driven and data-driven design and development experience • A passion for delivering high quality software • Experience with high-transaction, low-latency systems is desirable • Demonstrated ability to show initiative and work in a self-sufficient manner • Strong verbal and written communication skills |
