Description

 We are currently seeking an experienced Work Health and Safety Manager who will responsible for developing systems and processes to ensure Citi’s compliance with Work Health and Safety legislation and requirements. Reporting to the HR Director, this role will work across our entire business enhancing integration of work health & safety requirements into relevant processes. This role is part time, 3 days a week.
The functional responsibility of this role is to provide quality Work Health & Safety advice to the business through the following activities:        
  • Accident / Injury reporting
    • Injury management and workers compensation
    • WHS Consultation & Communication
    • Risk Management
    • Management of First Aid Program
  • Appoint, convene and co-ordinate the WH&S Committee
  • Monitor, measure and report on critical WH&S metrics to Citi Australia’s Board of Directors for CPL
  • Develop effective premium reduction strategies
  • Develop education / training / communication strategies for new and existing staff
  • Partner with businesses to develop WH&S protocols for the branch networks / distribution channels and Head and Interstate offices
  • Oversee case management and return to work programs and provide advice on return to work strategies and rehabilitation for both work related and non-work related conditions.
  • Provide / coordinate workstation assessments

Qualifications

  
To be successful in this position you must have the following skills and experience:
  • Tertiary qualifications in WH&S
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing WH&S Management Systems
  • Deep understanding of WH&S legislation and requirements in all relevant jurisdictions
  • Previous experience in dealing with insurance and rehabilitation providers
  • Previous experience with return to work programs and case management
  • Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in undertaking workstation assessments
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple requirements.
