Job Summary

Apple is seeking an exceptional and experienced marketing professional to join the product marketing team to lead the development and implementation of content within our marketing materials to demonstrate the adoption and momentum of iOS in businesses large and small. This role is responsible for localising and adapting Apple’s iPhone and iPad business assets, sales tools and web properties for Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia. The Customer Content Manager will also be responsible for identifying compelling examples of iPhone, iPad and iOS application deployments across the region, to be used in marketing programs and customer facing content. As a member of the global marketing team, you will work closely with our Business Markets team in Cupertino to develop programs that drive awareness of and demand for, transformational iOS deployments at the most strategic level. You will possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal and exhibit a deep understanding of the unique qualities of each of the core markets in which we operate and for which this role will support. You are strategic and creative in your approach to content and communications. You will excel at building relationships and strive for excellence in everything you do.

Key Qualifications

  • 9 - 10 years or more relevant experience in a technical marketing discipline, ideally in creative production across traditional and digital media environments.
  • You will be passionate about technology, its adoption and impact on organisations and their people.
  • You will demonstrate the ability to identify and articulate a compelling story, one that resonates with our Business Markets customer base. You will then work with a diverse mix of functional groups and individuals to share that discovery.
  • You will be creative, one who can see the big picture but deal with the detail with equal ease.
  • Exceptional presentation, verbal and written communication skills are required, along with your ability to educate and inspire an audience, large or small.

Description

You will work with the world-wide Business Markets team in Cupertino and your local product marketing and marketing communications colleagues to author, curate, publish and promote ‘iPhone and iPad in Business’ content across a variety of channels including iTunes, apple.com, iBooks, partners, system integrators and carriers. You are responsible for creating a repository of customer references and stories that demonstrate the momentum behind iOS adoption and deployment, for sharing these with our local and world wide colleagues and for identifying opportunities for our PR team. You are also directly responsible for developing small business programs that can be maintained and scaled within our markets to further excite the interest and adoption of iOS as a platform for transforming business. You will work with your local Marcom colleagues to localise and publish content on the business pages of apple.com in each of the core markets we operate as well as localise and adapt a variety of sales enablement tools. You will work side by side with our Business Markets Program Manager to provide strategic insight, product and business messaging to our world wide Business Markets team based in California. As this role covers the South East Asian market, direct and relevant experience operating in these diverse countries is strongly desired.

Education

Candidates should be degree qualified in marketing or communications with relevant industry experience.
