The Role:
This opportunity is in our Consumer Sales Division and reports to the National Operations Manager.
The Consumer Sales business is our largest division, approximately responsible for 75% of Kimberly-Clark sales in Australia & New Zealand. The person for this role will be an inspiration team leader who will lead by example and ensure that team results and individual performance and development is achieved.
The Position:
The overall accountability for this role is to manage the retail execution of customer, category and marketing strategies in Victoria. We are looking for the individual that will exceed sales targets, market share objectives, levels of expected customer service, whilst always operating in the behaviours that are critical to the way we operate.
You will demonstrate your ability to:

Key Accountabilities
  • Execute the state business plan and develop and recommend state field plans and market implementation initiatives
  • Manage a team of sales professionals to ensure achievement of customer and category objectives
  • Develop, motivate and retain employees whilst they put their best foot forward in achieving business objectives
  • Plan and conduct regular cycle meetings
  • Provide the National Operations Manager with accurate and timely data on sales activities, customer service levels and staff performance
  • Be ahead in knowledge when it comes to competitor activity and other relevant market information
  • Be active in ensuring safe workplace practices, consistent to company guidelines
Education & Experience
  • A confident number of years in the FMCG or retail industry
  • A successful background in sales leadership
  • Effective written and verbal communication of the English language
  • Computer literacy
  • Effective understanding and utilisation of sales principals
  • Prior experience leading a team with a focus on employee development and coaching
  • Strong analytical skills
