GE’s Global Operations is a team within GE Oil & Gas responsible for the execution of Contractual Service Agreements across global customers and partners.

In this role the Global Operations Parts Manager will be responsible to ensure the proper management and logistics of spare parts for large contractual commitments.
- Be the link with the service provider of distribution center in Perth and lead the results
- Lead and make sure that logistics, reception, quality checks and system updates are properly done
- Lead and ensure that the parts movement are done on time as per P&L needs, from HQ/suppliers to warehouses, quarantine areas and customer sites
- Define with local sourcing team the resources and tools necessary to fulfill the operations, and put them in place
- Work with sourcing team to ensure optimum utilization of logistic services to manage the goods
- Work with and global teams and lead to accomplish the movements of spare parts compliant with customs, quarantine and local regulations when needed
- Create open and regular communication channels and rhythm with HQ logistics, P&L needs, sourcing and service providers
- Review and update logistics procedures and QMS that can accommodate the site needs
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or minimum 5 years on the job experience
- Logistics qualification or equivalent
- Experience in a similar role advantageous, with well-developed team management skills
- Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization, and able to influence others
- Demonstrated champion of customer care, committed to maintaining the highest standards of service quality in all aspects of equipment servicing
- Financially & commercially astute.
- Results orientated, self-driven
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability and willingness to work independently, yet contribute to the team environment
- Ability to work in a cross functional environment
- Self-motivated and disciplined to carry out all necessary tasks to achieve business goals

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and operations of computerized manufacturing systems
- Familiar with Gas Turbine components
- Experience working with Oracle
