This role exists to drive growth for the GE Capital Consumer organisation by developing and executing a range of marketing solutions to drive profitable new customer acquisition for our Closed End Lending business & key retail partner.
This role must ensure the balance of growth objectives, profit targets, compliant business practices and values leadership.
Key areas of responsibility:
Development and execution of customer led marketing strategy across closed end lending to drive profitable new customer acquisition and volume.
Lead the marketing engagement with lending partners to drive strong partnerships and alignment with joint marketing plans.
Develop and implement brand strategy and management of our closed end lending brands within budget and business model constraints.
Lead the marketing engagement with our key retail partners, drive strong partnership and alignment with joint marketing plans to deliver portfolio objectives.
Develop Customer Acquisition strategy and plan to drive profitable new customer acquisition and volume
Execute customer acquisition campaigns spanning ATL, BTL and online, driving improved marketing effectiveness.
Development and management of brand guidelines.
Define the optimal acquisition and onboarding Customer experience and champion required enhancements.
Lead design and execute partner channel engagement programs.
Input into GE Capital Blueprint planning cycles.
Development and innovation of customer value propositions to ensure market growth and penetration
Manage budget to achieve Consumer volume and PBT targets.
Actively leverage the resources and skills across the matrix to deliver capabilities in terms of strategy, insights and digital to help achieve business targets.
To be successful in this role, you will need substantial marketing experience, in a service industry, preferably financial services with a relevant tertiary qualification. Knowledge and understanding of industry dynamics including regulatory environment, compliance and credit risk will be advanced.
A track record of success in developing marketing strategies and executing acquisition campaigns to achieve strong results will be one of your key strengths. A strategic mindset with an ability to execute programs and plans will be quite advanced. You will also draw on previous experience in managing P&L, people and resources. Knowledge of Operations, Risk, Compliance, Sales will ensure the operational relevance needed in this position. In essence you will need to have the confidence, segment marketing experience and capability to: achieve growth in market share; drive change; have the courage and imagination to make things happen.
