Embedded C++ Software Engineer
Aurec have been exclusively engaged by a global Point of Sale (POS) company to lead the search for a senior Embedded C++ Software Engineer with experience of Hypercom Devices to work across a number of high-tech projects.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in identifing requirements based on business needs.
  • development of embedded POS, EMV & Online Transaction Processing software using C++.
  • Apply pre-established engineering process - Liaise closely with other technical stakeholders throughout.
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of the different phases of software development processes.
  • Demonstrate expertise on engineering tasks, solving highly complex engineering problems.
  • Ensure that good software development standards are maintained throughout.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years experience with C++ as a software engineer, with a minimum of 1 year experience in embedded systems - Essential
  • Excellent knowledge OOP
  • Low level software engineering skills
  • Experience working with Hypercom Devices is highly advantageous
  • Experience with POS / Online Transaction Processing in highly advantageous
  • Educated to Degree level in Computer Science/Engineering or similar
  • Solid understanding of computer science principles
  • Excellent communication skills (English)
  • Self starter and fast learner - able to add value from day 1.
