Bank South Pacific is the leading Bank in the South Pacific with a significant presence in Papua New Guinea, Fiji and Solomon Islands.We are looking for a senior coverage banker to help the group further expand and penetrate business in Papua New Guinea.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead bank wide account planning to grow client income and increase Bank penetration of client banking business in accordance with agreed plans
• Develop relationships with senior client management across business, operational and finance functions to better understand client strategy, priorities and banking/finance requirements
• Build relationship with Strategic Client (existing & prospects) and identify opportunities to expand client portfolio in line with bank’s business strategy.
• Demonstrate high awareness as the first line of defence in terms of identifying and monitoring credit and operational risks.

Requirements

• Critical and strategic thinking with good business initiatives in terms of sales, marketing,  financial and analytical skills
• Strong Credit and Risk Management knowledge
• Sound Structured Finance and Project Management Skills
• Extensive knowledge of banking products
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in Banking and Finance environment / similar Senior Banking role
