supporting the development and execution of the Group's corporate
strategy.
The Group Strategic Development team advises the CEO, is responsible for developing the Group's corporate strategy and executes high-priority corporate and cross-business unit projects that support the achievement of the corporate strategy.

The Group Strategic Development team advises the CEO, is responsible for developing the Group's corporate strategy and executes high-priority corporate and cross-business unit projects that support the achievement of the corporate strategy.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining a sound understanding of the Australian and international financial services industry, with particular regard to current and future trends.
- Undertaking research and delivering high quality analysis and commercial perspectives on various issues and initiatives. This will include identifying data sources, reviewing and synthesising information, conducting a comprehensive analysis based on this research and drawing out implications and/or recommendations.
- Working productively as part of the team or independently, to manage deliverables and meet deadlines.
- Contributing towards the identification of strategic growth options and formulation of corporate strategy through active interaction within and outside the GSD team.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders from other business units who may contribute, influence or be impacted by the strategy planning process and other GSD-led projects.
Requirements for the role:
- Degree in Economics or Business related field.
- Experience in researching and analysing complex issues.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Modelling and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
