The Role

Realise your potential and get that break you've been looking for with our Fast Track Adviser program; start date 3 rd February 2014

CFP's Fast Track Adviser program is a6 month professional development program designed to give you the knowledge, skills and experienceyou needto move in to an entry level Advice role with CFP.

This structured training program will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of CFP and the key business partnerships between CFP and the wider CBA group.

We will provide you with all the support and guidance you need to successfully complete the program and progress to a role in financial planning. Many people will support you to be successful, including a buddy, mentors, peer support groups, placement Managers and regional Executives.

In addition you will learn:
  • How different teams in CFP and CBA fit together to provide quality advice to our customers
  • How Paraplanners create and review financial strategies that meet the needs and objectives of a diverse range of customers
  • How Financial Planners provide advice on appropriate investment, superannuation and insurance strategies to grow and protect the wealth of our customers

Skills & Experience Required

We have a limited number of spaces remaining for driven people like you who have completed their RG146 and now seek an entry-level role in financial planning.

You require:
  • RG146 compliance in the following competencies: financial planning, generic knowledge, life insurance, managed investments, superannuation, skills
  • Hold a university degree ( Desirable)
  • Be a Citizen/PR of Australia or New Zealand
  • Minimum of 12-18 months in a client facing role - preferably branch, call centre or sales roles
  • Desire to work in financial planning and deliver quality financial advice to customers
  • Desire to work in a busy, corporate, relationship focused and client driven environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of determination and enthusiasm to succeed
  • You must be available to start at CFP on 3 rd February 2014
