We are currently searching for 3rd Electricians to join our team. During his/her watch, the 3rd Electrician assists the Engineer Watch Officer (EWO) by locally monitoring the safe and efficient operation of machineries inside the engine room. Outside his/her watch he/she participates in the maintenance and repair of engine room and hotel machinery and equipment.The qualifications of this position will follow all international and national conventions and regulations and must have a Bachelors of Electrical Engineering or similar from an accredited University or College. Requirements: * Ability to speak English clearly, distinctly and cordially with guests * Ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests, supervisors and co-workers * Ability to speak additional languages such as Spanish, French or German preferred * Ability to participate in emergency life-saving drills and required training
