The team We are looking for 3 new C++ developers to join our Market Connectivity team building high speed, low latency connections to exchange systems. We are a development focussed team. We don’t have Business Analysts or Testers so we have full responsibility for the SDLC from gathering user requirements to production deployment. You won’t be coding to a specification. Instead you’ll be responsible for designing and optimising our systems, both technically and functionally to improve our trading success. What do you need? If you possess the following skills and experience you too can become an integral part of this dynamic team: • 2-3 years commercial object oriented programming experience, with a particular focus on low-latency, high-transaction systems, robust testing techniques • an understanding of network programming and general networking concepts • excellent communication skills and have the ability to build and maintain relationships • an awareness of agile process and practices such as TDD, unit and functional testing, continuous integration • a keen interest in learning new technologies, but experience in technologies that we currently use would be advantageous: C++, Boost, BJam, GMock, GTest, Python, Linux • an interest or experience in trading or Finance would be highly regarded but is not essential What you’ll get! •A competitive salary package •Unbelievable perks such as free breakfast, lunch and gym membership, but to name a few •Interesting projects to work on Sound brilliant?
