Senior Validation Engineer - 18 month fixed-term contract

A large Global Pharmaceutical company based in the south-east of Melbourne is currently searching for an experienced Senior Validation Engineer with a Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or Food background to join their project team on an 18 month fixed-term contract. Due to the development of a new FDA approved manufacturing facility based in the south-east of Melbourne, this well-performing global Pharmaceutical company is in need of an experienced Senior Validation Engineer to come on board and join their project team on a 18 month fixed-term contract as they assist with the development of this new facility. Your main responsibilities for this role include: - The installation, commissioning and validation of production equipment - Ensuring that the above practices conform and follow the strict GMP standards - Conduct, competently document and implement validation protocols including IQ's, OQ's and PQ's - Write the SOP's for the production equipment - Conduct CAPA's and be involved in specific cost saving projects For you to be successful you must: - Have tertiary qualifications in either mechanical or chemical engineering - A minimum of 5 years experience working with production equipment within a GMP environment in either the pharmaceutical, medical device or food industries - Have a proven track record of executing protocols and validations in accordance with regulatory standards - Have previous project experience - Experience with conducting Root Cause Analysis and developing URS documents will also be highly favoured - Possess excellent communication skills - Have excellent problem solving skills - Have a proven ability to work within a team This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to work for one of the leading Pharmaceutical companies inAustraliathrough this period of growth, and give you the chance to build on your validation skills.
