Responsible for all internal sales related functions to ensure customer requirements are met and that there is continuous production consistent with established standards.
* Receive purchase order from customers and enter into Syteline in a timely manner
* Ensure orders are processed in a timely manner in order to meet customer delivery requirements
* Notify Planning & Inventory Control of sale for planning and review of material availability
* Coordinate with Manufacturing to expedite equipment, includes preparation and issue of work order packages
* Monitor status of sales order and maintain sales order file, includes liaising with Team Leader and Account Managers
* Ensure equipment is shipped to customer in a timely manner
* Prepare shipping documents, including export documents
* Ship sales orders in Syteline and ensure order is ready for invoicing
* Check/ensure invoices are correct, update Sales Order Log and Repair Register of Customer Owned Property as required
* Assist in resolving complaints/problems with customer orders
* Maintain & file sales orders, including archiving
* Respond to customer calls, as required
* Prepare and maintain weekly reports (Open orders and Production Meeting) and monthly reports (Sales Monthly Activity Report), as required
* Perform any additional or special tasks as requested by Team Leader, Office Manager or Operations Manager
* Highlight and demonstrate a full understanding of GEPC Q/EHS procedures.
Completed and passing grade of year 12, or three months related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Able to efficiently process sales orders within a fast paced team.
