Experienced analyst to assist in the
accurate accounting and reporting of results in the Financial Services
sector, for one of the fastest growing and fastest expanding retailers
in the world.
If
you think it should be easier for Australians to access simply great
financial services. If you'd like to build a business in one of the
fastest growing and fastest moving retailers in the world. If you want
your work to connect with customers and deliver something they really
value. This is your chance to be part of something special.
As an experienced analyst, you will work with a team to assist in the accurate accounting and reporting of results for financial services. The role holds key responsibility for the preparation of accurate and timely month end reporting. Working closely with the financial controller, you will produce month end result data, prepare month end balance sheets, manage reconciliations and provide quality finance reporting to senior management. The focus is on ensuring the business achieving the strategic objectives of the department, considering process improvement and lowering the cost of doing business.
Day to day, you will accurately prepare and explain balance sheets and cash flow reports in accordance with company policy, entering completed data into SAP. The role will also assist the Financial Controller with the provision of information to internal and external auditors.
Ideal candidates will have retail sector experience, strong analytical skills and a passion for the accurate presentation of data. Working to tight deadlines and contributing to quality outcomes comes naturally as well as displaying a strong understanding of the business.
Key skills include the ability to analyse financial information in order to provide insight to management, proven financial and analytical skills and tertiary qualifications (ideally a CPA, CA or MBA is in progress). Advanced computer skills including knowledge of SAP, the ability to communicate effectively and evidence of the consistent use of initiative are highly desirable for success in this role.
This is your chance to shake up the financial services industry by inventing new ways of doing things. Better yet, we're owned by the Wesfarmers Group, so a career with us is a gateway to development and progression opportunities you won't find anywhere else.
