What you'll do You’ll be part of a fast-paced, dynamic and self-sufficient team, collaborating closely with our Trading team to design, develop, implement and optimise our in-house automated trading applications. You’ll be working with stock, index and commodity derivative products and will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of our trading application from requirements to testing and of course production deployment. Speed is key and is a challenge you’ll always be on the quest to improve. Your skills Development of our automated trading system is primarily in C++, so experience with this language is valuable, however most importantly you will need to be eager to work in this environment. • 3+ years of commercial software engineering experience in a modern programming language • Test-driven and data-driven design and development experience • A passion for delivering high quality software • Experience with high-transaction, low-latency systems is desirable • Demonstrated ability to show initiative and work in a self-sufficient manner • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Degree qualification preferred |
