Senior Regulatory Affairs Associate


 
Join a global pharmaceutical company that is expanding their team due to increased demand. This Melbourne based company is looking for a Senior Regulatory Affairs Associate to join their growing business. You will have the opportunity to gain experience working in an international regulatory team where you will manage your own projects.

For this position you must have at least 5 years experience in regulatory affairs in the Australian market and proven experience in a Senior Regulatory Affairs role.

Key Accountabilities:

* Prepare and ensure cost-effective and timely product registrations
* Liaise with internal departments, external regulatory authorities, distributors and licensors both locally and internationally
* Keep up to date with regulatory changes and competitor activities
* Provide regulatory advice to other departments and assist in strategy planning
* Participate in the change control process
* Contribute to the development of policies, systems and procedures
* Assist in the training and development of junior associates

Skills and Experience Required:

* Tertiary qualifications preferably in biological science or related field. Post-graduate degree will be highly regarded
* Established knowledge of regulatory affairs including an understanding of legislation, local and international guidelines and process
* Proven experience in a Senior Regulatory Affairs position
* Experience with prescription and OTC products within generics
* Understanding of the principles of GMP, GCP and GLP
* Strong skills in time management, problem solving and communicatio
