Fund Accountant- 6 months temp to Perm exciting new role

Background on the role: A world leader in Fund Administration Services, our client is seeking high caliber, career driven qualified Fund Accountants to join their expanding team of professionals. About the position/ Key responsibilities: - Provide Accounting solutions to Hedge Funds for independent valuation, investor transparency and regulatory compliance - Perform accounting functions including P&L analysis, daily cash projections, calculations of FX transfers required for funding, checking client's contributions & redemptions - Verify performance by reviewing large P&L swings and analyzing income/expense journals for validity - Adjust activity as necessary for performance processing and reporting - Calculation of daily Net Asset Values (NAV's) - Perform daily, weekly and monthly securities pricing analysis - Perform and review position and value reconciliations. Ideal Candidate: Suitable candidates will hold a professional accounting designation (ACCA/CIMA/CA) and have at least three years PQE working with Hedge Funds. You must be able to efficiently communicate, execute sound judgment on escalating risk and have excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office.
