Pivotal
is recruiting for a Sales Rep who will be responsible for the QLD and
ACT territories and will report to the Pivotal Australia & New
Zealand leader. Responsible for selling the Pivotal platform business
(including Greenplum Big Data analytics, Gemfire Fast Data, Spring,
Cetas and vFabric ) and building the Australia Pivotal (previously
Greenplum and vFabric) Business.
Demonstrates
advanced knowledge around Data Warehousing, Customer Analytics, Data as a
Corporate asset, middleware and development platforms.
Provides
leadership in the development of product knowledge, solution, sales and
service strategies and competency development using the Integrated
Sales Cycle.
Must maintain detailed knowledge of
Pivotal software products, competitive products, customer vertical
industry and have in-depth understanding of the customer’s customer
insights strategy
Build and nurture an extensive network of industry leaders, System Integration Partners, Customers and Prospects
Be
the “Pivotal Ambassador” within EMC and VMWare – this involves
communicating with the Country Manager, the Sales Directors and the
direct and indirect sales teams, being up-to-date with market trends and
positioning around “Big Data Analytics & Fast Data” and having a
passion for this space
Experience
Must
have at least 5 years' experience in a quota bearing sales capacity
with at least 3 years’ experience selling new business deals
Ideally have Business Analytics, Database and middleware experience specifically with large accounts
Advantageous to have selling experience both direct and through the channel
Degree Level academic qualifications are desirable
