Essential Responsibilities

The specific focus will be to work with the GE Company business lines based in these geographies under the guidance of the Country Treasurer.

  • Provide support for simplification and integration projects
  • Drive consistent and effective policy compliance and procedures across the business
  • Drive consistency in business processes and systems, and ensure appropriate controls
  • Drive bank account rationalization, account openings/closings and signatory updates
  • Enhance controls of bank guarantee issuance and ensure process efficiency
  • Support standardization and automation initiatives including implementation of enterprise Standards for the region
  • Become an expert on the existing treasury tools used by GE Treasury and businesses
  • Develop and maintain operational reporting, regional dashboard and metrics
  • Ensure strong communication of treasury initiatives, policies, and market developments to the businesses and act as an advocate for business needs with treasury
  • Provide advice on Cash forecasting & controls
  • Lead the management of treasury exposure issues and treasury policy compliance, for risks including interest rate, foreign exchange and liquidity
  • Support Treasury aspects of business transactions including
  • Assist in providing acquisition and divestiture deal support which may include due diligence, debt and derivatives reviews, debt prepayment/assumption strategy, funding strategy and execution, closing and integration, TSA coordination
  • Provide support to the A&NZ Treasurer on complex transactions that require involvement from multiple functional groups in Treasury
  • Support deals for the region, including integrations and implementations

Qualifications/Requirements    

Bachelors Degree in business administration, finance, accounting or economics and at least 5 years Treasury or analytical work experience
Experience working in a transactional environment
Experience with foreign exchange and interest rate management products
