their expansion.
Renowned for manufacturing class leading sterile pharmaceutical products that are distributed worldwide, this top 10 Global Pharmaceutical Company require an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to join their manufacturing headquarters in Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your skills and experience to a company that is currently going through a period of strong growth and expansion. Sitting within the Engineering Services Department and reporting to the E&I Maintenance Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include: - Leading a team of professional Electrical and Instrumentation trades people over a 4 shift operation - Assist with the installation of new equipment - Control and schedule Preventative Maintenance work on site - Calibrate and test equipment - Repair faults and attend to breakdowns - Manage spare parts and work orders through CMMS system - Write up various documentation as required (maintenance history, materials used, required actions, etc) For you to thrive and succeed in this position you will have: - Tertiary qualifications as an Instrumentation Technician (or appropriate degree in Electrical or Instrumentation) - Have a trade background with a proven history of leading a group of qualified Electrical and Instrumentation trades people (2-3 years minimum supervisory experience) - Have worked in a GMP environment - Experience in Pharmaceutical manufacturing is very highly regarded (applicants with a biotechnology, medical device or other highly regulated industry will also be considered) - Extensive experience using a CMMS system - Possess a restricted electrical licence - Be independent and be able to work autonomously - Be flexible as work may be required outside of regular working hours This role presents a perfect opportunity for you to build on your maintenance career with the potential for further career progression upon starting.
