We are looking for a passionate, results oriented sales leader to provide overall branch management by leading a team of trading sales professionals to over achieve against objectives by delivering real personal service to our customers and exceptional sales performance from the team. This role is a great opportunity to lead the growth of our Branch in Sydney and be a self-reliant, independent individual who will report directly to the Executive Vice President, Global Sales.
Exciting Opportunity for a Great Sales Manager

Position Requirements:
  • Effectively manage the branch in building and maintaining a strong client base as well as continually source new business.
  • Responsible for the supervision and productivity of all trading activity in the branch location. 7 Corporate Traders, 4 Business Development Associates, 1 Compliance Officer and 2 Administrators.
  • Ensure financial security measures (settlement) are adhered to in accordance with company policy and government regulations.
  • Support the team to ensure that strategic planning and profit targets for the branch are achieved.
  • Responsible for mentoring, developing, and motivating the sales team as well as providing feedback to employees with regards to performance issues.
  • Oversee all human resources tasks including recruitment, selection and training for branch.
  • Regular reporting and constant communication with Canadian headquarters.
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Related post-secondary education or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of business development, sales and management experience.
  • 2+ years of proven sales training success.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop learning partnership with business units within an organization.
  • A first-class understanding of quality customer service.
  • Change agent in a fast paced environment.
  • Exceptional organization, leadership and people management skills.
  • High degree of self-motivation, combined with effective time management and coaching skills.
