MSL/ Medical Science Liaison - Cardiology /Respiratory - Sydney

Global Pharma company requires MSL/ Medical Science Liaison within Cardiology or respiratory any related disease to join an expanding cardiology team inSydney Australia. Salary - $110 - $125K plus $18K car allowance, bonus and super. This role would suit either an experienced Medical Science Liaison or a PhD Cardiology/ Respiratory expert with a network of KOLs and who is wants to join the Pharmaceutical industry as further training will be given. This is a great opportunity to join an expanding Pharmaceutical company as a Medical Science Liaison in a brand new role for the company. This company has large number of established Cardiology/ respiratory products with a network of KOLs, however theya major launch happening which requires this MSL to be involved in. This global biopharmaceutical company have a proud reputation for researching, developing, manufacturing and marketing products in cardiology/ respiratory. They have been steadily expanding their Australian affiliate and are now looking to create a new role within the local business. This role can offer career minded professionals who want to work on high visibility products the opportunity to do so. The company will be launching a number of products in this space, this year and so are looking to have the support of the Medical Science Liaison to initiate and cultivate strong relationships with exisiting and new healthcare/ KOLs/ medical professionals to build advocacy. This will happen right from early phase project development through post launch. This will be achieved through support and education of the scientific community and KOLs. The role has a strong scientific and medical component This role requires a strong medical/scientific knowledge as you will be required to operate on a peer to peer level with KOLs in the industry. Alongside the technical knowledge you will also need to demonstrate a track record and ability in building relationships, engaging and influencing. Strong communication skills - written and verbal are a given. We are looking for scientific expert who ismotivated, adaptable and enthusiastic. To be successful in this role you will need: * Post graduate qualifications in cardiology or Medical Doctor with cardiology contacts within Australia *Solid experience in a Pharmaceutical company, including a good understanding of Clinical Research and be able to read and critique clinical papers *Knowledge and understanding or the relevant legislation - PSA, MA Code of Conduct, TGA *A strong commercial and strategic focus coupled with health outcomes customer focus Excellent communication skills, proven influencer and good at building relationships.
