We are currently recruiting for Consultant, Income Middle Office on a 12 months contract. This role will report to the Melbourne Corporate Actions Division Manager, Asset Servicing, to provide IOO (Investment Operations Outsourcing) Income Middle Office support and oversight for the Australasia region.

THE ROLE – Consultant, Income Middle Office
This role will report to the Melbourne Corporate Actions Division Manager, Asset Servicing, to provide IOO (Investment Operations Outsourcing) Income Middle Office support and oversight for the Australasia region.
  • Work closely with GFS (Global Fund Services) IOO on a continuous basis with regards to client service relationships and IOO Income performance
  • Responsible for all Australian based client queries, client communication and Daily Data Quality.
  • Provide GFS IOO with regular performance metrics
  • Attend client calls and direct meetings where necessary / required
  • Networking platforms and forums set in place to ensure that Income are always ‘in the know’ with regards to new products, new services, work closely with BPM and Product Research team
  • Investment Management knowledge – understanding our clients in detail, being able to articulate this on-going to Global Ops. To ensure this understanding and knowledge is cascaded throughout IITG.
  • Assist with root cause analysis of exceptions and focus on trends to mitigate errors and losses
  • Ensure any ‘change requests’ submitted by current clients for a new process or product is formally documented via the IITG BPM Team
  • New products being on boarded are analysed, new bespoke processes are flagged and formally documented via Product
  • Client visits in person – schedule regular visits with client’s at their offices to build upon existing relationships
  • Continue to expand and grow our partnership with GFS – regular communication forums, regular face to face meetings, regular reporting, regular context building
  • Internal point of escalation for all issues raised
  • Monitor and review Bangalore Income team’s performance to the agreed Service Levels on a continual basis.  Agree required action plan and timescales to resolve any SLA breaches
  • Provide continuity of business knowledge and ownership of any issues raised by the Bangalore Income Team or other Partner Areas.
  • Be prepared to assist partners within Bangalore Income team by acting very much “hands on” if the circumstances demand it.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
  • Have knowledge of entitlements process
  • Have at least 2 years experience in an Outsourcing Provider environment and / or  Investment Manager knowledge, experience preferable
  • Communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels, locations and clients
  • Strong presentations skills with the ability to present at all levels, locations and clients
  • Experience in overseeing various elements of processing and quality assurance.
  • Proven record in identifying process inefficiencies and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Have the ability to operate in a dynamic environment of growth and change.
  • Risk awareness and risk management skills.  The ability to proactively address issues and escalate as appropriate.
  • Strong focus on client service and delivery, taking a proactive and innovative approach to both existing and new business.
  • Co-ordination skills, specifically across locations and partner areas, taking ownership of any issues.
  • Strong focus on client service & delivery; with the ability to take a proactive and innovative approach.
  • Flexibility and the ability to multi task.
