Reporting to the Senior Executive, Advice - who in turn reports into the CEO of the Count business-you will manage a team of five reports.
The two primary focuses of the role will be to:
• review and manage the ongoing maintenance ofadvice documents, to ensure they are relevant to the business and our Customers' needs, as well as, easy to read and compliant;
• to improve the efficiency and productivity of the Paraplanning function, by continuing to better employtechnology in the running and management of the team.
In more details, you and your team will:
• Ensure the delivery of high quality, compliant advice documents with a production target as detailed in KPI's
• Paraplanning work flow management
• Continualy look at methods of productivity improvement in the paraplanning process
• Provide feedback to the Voyager team on how advice document preparation can be improved
• Manage and own the advice document changes with Count including FNA, FSG, SOA and ROA
• Provide statistical reporting on advice document completion, revenue/cost analysis and individual paraplanner productivity levels
• Ensure a high level of Adviser satisfaction with the plans prepared and address situations where this does not eventuate
• Ensure that job related skill levels are maintained and enhanced via appropriate technical and self-development training
We are looking for people with
• RG 146 compliant
• 12 months experience in a paraplanning/financial planning/technical services role
• Tertiary qualifications (preferably in Commerce/Business/Economics/Accounting/Law) will be highly regarded
• An understanding of advice documents
• Previous experience with financial planning software - Xplan experience will be highly regarded
• Attention to detail
• Good level of technical knowledge
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Strong communication skills - verbal and written
• Strong customer focus and team engagement skills
• Good level of Relationship Management
• Commercial acumen and good planning skills
• Previous team leadership experience is not required
