The team
The purpose of CommBank's Talent Acquisition (TA) team is to support CommBank business leaders to attract, select and hire the best talent to meet the Group's current and future workforce needs.
The opportunity
You will collaborate with the business and the HR functions to support and drive the successful implementation and delivery of Retail Banking (RBS) recruitment needs aligned to the Vision, Values, Group Strategy, and Capability Framework.
You will proactively source talent from both the active and passive markets, connecting hiring managers with job seeker drivers and behaviours, and market insights, to influence good hiring decisions. Passionate about the candidate and hiring manager experience, you will champion ground-breaking sourcing and selection methods, putting the candidate and the hiring manager front and centre of all you do.

What will success look like?
- You will act at all times as a brand guardian for the CBA Group, from a customer and employment perspective, promoting our Employer Value Proposition (EVP) to competitively differentiate CommBank in the recruitment market
- You will identify and implement a variety of bespoke sourcing channels, attracting and pipelining talent to meet the business' current and future workforce needs, with a focus on social media and the passive market
- You will administer and review psychometric and ability assessments to ensure that candidates have the skills to be successful and which are aligned to our Capabilities
- You will actively coach and up-skill hiring managers in best practice interviewing techniques
- You will collaborate with the wider TA community to support key projects and initiatives aligned to our TA Strategy
- You will identify and execute ideas for continuous improvement and innovation throughout the recruitment life-cycle
What will help you succeed?
- You are an experienced recruiting professional within an in-house, on-site, or agency environment
- You have experience managing hires up to GM level, including successful engagement and management of Exec level stakeholders
- You are adept in the use of psychometric and ability assessment methodologies as a tool for supporting hiring decisions
- You will have an impressive track record of leveraging a variety of sourcing channels strategies to attract diverse talent
