The opportunity

EY's growing multidisciplinary Research & Development team within our Tax division helps companies driving innovation and global growth take advantage of all the Research and Development tax, government grants and export incentives available to them.

The EY R&D team is a unique multidisciplinary team comprising engineers, scientists, lawyers and tax/accounting and IT professionals helping Australian companies claim government R&D tax incentives for their Research and Development projects. As a result of continued growth we are looking for new team members.

About you

We are looking for people with;
  • Undergraduate and/or post graduate qualification in IT, geology, engineering or law/commerce
  • Preference will be given to applications with industry experience in IT or mining
  • Demonstrated exceptional work ethic
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Strong numerical ability, ideally with exposure to commercial accounting
  • Strong problem-solving and lateral thinking skills and the ability to work with complex and detailed information, evidenced potentially by studies within fields such as Law, Business theory, Science and Engineering
  • Work experience and an interest in Accounting, Hi-Tech industry, R&D programs or technology commercialisation is desirable
