Our client is looking for a Business Development / Channel Account Manager. They are one of Australia's leading national IT distributors of IP Storage, IP Networking and IP Security products.


They are a Value Added Distributor driven to develop successful partnerships with their reseller partners providing the product knowledge and support required to help them succeed.


From a Business Development perspective your primary goal will be lift volume sales through reseller Channel partners. As an Account Manager you will take an active role in assisting reseller partners to manage their sales pipeline providing active assistance to help them in their marketing, lead generation campaigns right through to closing deals.


You will also be working closely with their vendor partners, developing your competitive selling and positioning knowledge and driving support for your channel.

To be able to succeed in this role you should have a pre-existing knowledge of the Sydney and wider NSW reseller market with developed relationships with resellers enabling you to hit the ground running.

You must also demonstrate a lead from the front approach, happy to get out in front of end user customers actively assisting and in some more complex cases closing the sale.

You will also have some marketing knowledge helping reseller customers developing campaigns to drive new opportunities.

You will also have held and delivered on a multi-million dollar sales budget.
